Blackpool were on top for most of the game with a fast paced start with a short corner 2 minutes into the game and plenty of possession and attacking throughout the first half but were unable to find a goal Bury had there chances in Blackpool’s D but quick rushes from rainbow and Brookes Allen and Taylor holding a firm back line kept the score 0-0 at half time . Bury opened the first half with a burst of pace and a quick flurry of attacks which led them to a 2 on 1 with rainbow and a pass across the over stretched keeper saw them score a well worked goal from open play. Blackpool furious with themselves up’d the tempo of their game and striker Steven Whitley was brought down in the D to earn Blackpool a PF with Simon Allen converting. The game was kept at a furios tempo with both sides wanting a win but the score remained the same with both sides earning point. A fair result and the best game of the season from both sides. Still everything to play for as Blackpool Bury and Leigh are all square at the top with only goal difference separating them.
