Super sub martin hayes came off the bench to score 2 crucial goals to keep blackpools promotion push going in a goal fest at bolton. Blackpool coming to bolton in a run of good form started well knocking the ball around well with ben mortimer hocking and blakemore combing well to create some early chances, but a great ball in the d from nick slater resulted in mitch blakemore rifling it into the net, quickly following some good work from alex rowe resulted in blakemore giving chris hocking an easy chnace to put blackpool 2-0. Bolton got a reply straight after blackpools second goal, but just before half time blakemore converted a penalty stroke to make it 3-1 at half time. Bolton came out of the second half quickly and scored two goals in quick succession with blackpool down to ten men to level the scores, but with 10 mins to go martin hayes tapped in a blakemore shot to put blackpool ahead from a paco pass and then with 5 minutes to go some good runs from craig brookes put bolton under pressure for martin hayes to score another goal to but blackpool up 5-3 and crush boltons chance of getting anything from the game, blackpool dominated the game through most periods and now only need a draw next week against leigh to gain promotion. Man of the match went to nick slater who was far and away the best player on the pitch dominating the attackind midfield and causing bolton plenty of problems he will be sorely missed next week.
